GENERAL SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.  Part of good Christian conduct is the wearing of proper clothing.  Dress properly at all times.  Go according to the dress code and be reasonable as you do.

2.  Use of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, dishonesty, profanity, etc. is not acceptable.

            (See policy on paged 13 & 14 )

3.  Students forcing entry in to locked buildings and rooms at any time are subject to serious penalty.

4.  Students may not be at school outside of school hours without parental or staff supervision.

5.  The qualities of courtesy, friendliness, etiquette and maturity (all of which go hand in hand with spiritual depth) should be developed continually.  Young people should respect their elders and be in obedience to those who have authority over them.  James Valley Christian students should always be concerned for the safety and welfare of others.

6.  Christian decorum and modesty in the boy-girl relationship must be evidenced around the school and at all school activities.  No hand holding or hanging on each other.

7.  Personal living of students and staff should conform to the moral laws of the Bible.

8.  Permission must be granted to leave the school building during school.

9.  No running in the halls or classrooms of the school.

10.  The office is to be used for business only.  No loitering.

11.  All personal items must be in your locker or in your school bag.  If personal things are left on the top of the lockers, they will be put in the lost and found.  You will be charged $1.00 to get items out of the lost and found. 

12.  Please help keep the building clean.  Let's be proud of our school.

13.  Cell phones are not allowed in the classrooms (8:30-3:30).

14.  Students are not allowed in the building including gym, weight room, etc. without parental or staff supervision outside of school hours.

15.  The locker rooms are to be used for physical education and sports activities.  They are off limits during the school day.
