FINANCIAL POLICY
1. Pre-payment - A 3% discount will be applied to any K-12 account that is paid in full for the year on or before the first day of classes.
2. Tuition is due on the 15th of each month (August through May). The monthly fee for grades 1-6 is $315, and $189 for kindergarten. This fee includes tuition (insurance, books, activities) and meals. A discount will be given to families having more than two children enrolled at JVCS.
3. Late payment - 15th of the month - tuition due. 1st of the following month - $5 late fee will be charged to each student whose tuition is not paid. A letter of explanation and request for payment will be sent to the family. 15th - "2nd NOTICE" letter will be sent. 45 days late - phone calls will be made from the office asking the family to please remit. 60 days late - delinquent payments beyond 60 days will result in mandatory meeting with the executive board with the parents asked to submit an acceptable payment plan or there will be administrative action that may include dismissal from JVC. Outstanding tuition will be paid before current tuition.
4. Any outstanding tuition on June 1 will be charged a 1.5% per month finance charge on the outstanding balance.
5. All bills will be paid before moving to the next grade.
6. Report cards will not be handed out unless finances are current or arrangements have been made.
7. No student will be permitted to register for second semester unless their account is current.
8. All exceptions to the above are subject to Executive Board approval.
9. Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of $100 is due with the application. This registration fee changes to $125 if paid after May 1st.
10. Tuition will be pro-rated no less than monthly to attendance.
